Kino Sports Complex will host the
COPA Bud Light soccer tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26 featuring 32 local adult soccer teams who will play for bragging rights and their chance at a $1,000 cash prize.

Tournament play gets underway by 10 a.m. at the Kino North Soccer Complex, 2817 E. Ajo Way, and will continue until 4 p.m. Unlike traditional soccer tournaments, participating COPA Bud Light teams are not affiliated to a specific league and have between 6 to 8 players. While all team members must be over the age of 21, the teams themselves can be coed, all men or all women. Additionally, game times are generally shorter with only 20-minute halves.
Alongside the soccer games, visitors can enjoy live music performances featuring norteño music artist, Jesus Mendoza, and delicious concession food items. All COPA Bud Light activities will be open to the public and included with their free admission, even parking.
“COPA Bud Light is a free soccer tournament that brings the community together by offering a one of a kind event with a festival atmosphere that brings passionate soccer players to compete for a $1000 grand prize,” said Rommel Chevez, director of operations for COPA Bud Light.
During this event, Kino Sports Complex will enforce its no outside food or beverage policy, with the exception of one sealed disposable water bottle per person. For questions regarding this policy, please visit
Kino’s website or call (520) 724-5466.
