Review Requirements

• Site plan and construction drawings
• Location of proposed septic tank and leach field
• Existing and proposed buildings and structures, driveways, parking, utilities and wells
• Distances from property lines, buildings and structures
• Existing and proposed topography
• Design Report, including design flow, design calculations, and trench profile
• Materials List
• Operation and Maintenance Plan
• Chamber - Conventional Notice of Intent to Discharge/CA/DA (for conventional systems)
• Trench - Conventional Notice of Intent to Discharge/CA/DA (for conventional systems)
• Alternative Notice of Intent to Discharge (for alternative systems)

Process

• In an effort to streamline the septic review process, please combine all documents for review into one file. Failure to comply may result in the project being returned for corrections.
• Applicant  emails application package to buildingsafetyadmin@pima.gov, provides FTP link or USB drive (if site addressing is desired, it can be combined in this request)
• If corrections are required, Pima County will follow-up directly with applicant
• Prior to approval, Pima County will email applicant invoice
• Upon applicant payment of invoice, Pima County will email applicant approved plans/ADEQ Construction Authorization
• Applicant schedules inspections and submits final paperwork to inspector
