On Wednesday, Sept. 13 the Pima County Department of Transportation began a micro sealing surface treatment project on Linda Vista Boulevard, from Thornydale Road to Hartman Lane. Work will continue through Thursday, Sept. 21. Work will take place between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The following is the anticipated work schedule:
- Wednesday, September 13 through Thursday, September 21: The contractor will be removing pavement markings, performing crack sealing, patching and other preliminary work.
- Monday, October 16 through Tuesday, October 17: The contractor will be applying the micro sealing surface treatment and restriping the road/adding pavement markings.
Motorists can expect lane restrictions and reduced speed. Sheriff’s deputies, flaggers and a pilot car will be assisting through the work zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
