    The power to stop the flu begins with you! On-site flu shot clinics are FREE for all Pima County employees, spouses, domestic partners and any dependents 18 years or older covered on the Pima County medical plan. For participants not covered under the County’s medical plan, El Rio will accept most major insurance carriers. Please bring your medical insurance card.
     
    Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments take priority, so schedule your appointment today. Over 20 County and City locations available for your convenience.

    The Trick or Treat Walk is Back.
    October 31, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
     
    Sign - in at the check-in table next to the Congress St. bridge
     
    Visit the Trick or Treat webpage for the map and more information.
    Don’t miss a minute of “spooktacular” fun! Join other downtown employees on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31 for a fun walk during your break.

    Pick up “Trick or Treat” tickets during the walk for healthy tips and a chance at prizes. Earn extra tickets for dressing festively or donating canned food items for the Community Food Bank.

    Pima County Employee Wellness Program receives recognition from Wellness Council of Arizona (WELCOAZ)
     
    Kenneth Coultas – Recipient of 2017 Champions of Worksite Wellness
     
    3rd Place - Arizona Virtual Challenge
     
    Kenneth Coultas was awarded the 2017 Champions of Worksite Wellness at the 32nd annual WELCOAZ award ceremony.

    Ken Coultas has been a star Wellness Action Committee (WAC) Member for Pima County for many years. Ken has been faithful in communicating program events via email and scheduling workshops, health coaching and onsite screenings. His dedication to help promote the County’s employee wellness program activities and campaigns has made an impact on all of the departments he has represented. Ken’s energy and enthusiasm for wellness has been a wonderful addition to the Pima County Employee Wellness program.

    In addition to Ken’s award, Pima County Employee Wellness program was awarded 3rd place in the recent Arizona Virtual Challenge.

    Register for the Blood Pressure Challenge 
     
     This self-paced challenge will help you learn stress-reduction techniques you can use to help lower your blood pressure throughout the day. Blood pressure machines and health kiosks available at many locations.
