Dependent Care – Flexible Spending Account

    Enrollment Period : November 6, 2017 – November 27, 2017

    Benefit Plan Year : January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018

Whether you’re a single parent or you and your spouse work or attend school full-time, providing supervised care for your dependents is essential to your livelihood. The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan allows you to put away pre-tax dollars to pay for any of the following qualified expenses:
    • Child or adult daycare
    • Preschool
    • Summer day camp (overnight camps are not eligible)
    • Before or after school programs

When can I enroll and how?

Simply login to the ADP Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal, go to Benefits and click on Enroll Now on the Annual Enrollment window. Follow the prompts and make sure to click Finish to submit your enrollment. Save a copy of the benefits summary confirmation page for your records.

What is the Benefit Plan Year?

The Plan Year runs from January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018. All expenses must be incurred during this time in order to be reimbursed with the FSA funds. You will have until March 31st of the following year to submit your claims for the previous calendar year.

    Important Reminders

    • You may participate in the Dependent Care FSA even if you are enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA)
    • An FSA is not a savings account. You must use all of your contributions each year or risk losing any unused balance at the end of the calendar year.
    • You must actively re-enroll in your Dependent Care FSA each benefit plan year.
