    No Weight Gain Contest Weigh-Outs

    Don’t forget to weigh-out for the No Weight Gain Contest the week of January 8, 2018. Check out the weigh-out schedule to find out what day and time your location will be hosting the weigh-outs. You can also weigh out at home. It’s best if you weigh out on the same scale as you weighed in on if you can. After you weigh out, remember to submit either the online Certificate of Completion, or the pdf Certificate of Completion if you aren’t able to fill out the online version. Your Certificate of Completion is needed in order to earn HLAPs and to be entered into the grand prize drawing of 1 of 20 $100 Corporate Rewards gift cards*.     Self-Care Essentials is Back for the New Year

    If you didn't get a chance to participate in the Self-Care Essentials program in June, now's your chance! Self-Care Essentials is a 6-week program to help you learn how to better manage your own self-care, compile important personal health information and how to secure or talk to your Primary Care Physician (PCP). Registration is open and the program starts January 8, 2018. With the chance to earn up to 100 Healthy Lifestyle Activity Points (HLAPs), this is a great opportunity to earn those missing points just in time for the February 28, 2018 deadline.     Better Sleep Challenge

    Nearly 60% of American suffer from poor sleep - are you one of them? Better sleep may be possible by changing a few habits and trying new stress-reduction techniques.     Healthy Living Program - 6 week series on Managing Ongoing Health Conditions

    Do you or your loved one suffer from a chronic health condition? If you would like to learn how to manage a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, heart & lung disease, and chronic pain through a healthy lifestyle, the Healthy Living: Managing Ongoing Health Conditions program is for you! Pima County Employee Wellness is offering this 6-week interactive program for FREE to a limited number of employees and their spouses/domestic partners. All employees and their spouses/domestic partners welcome.

    Sessions will be held Tuesdays, 5:30pm - 8:00pm starting January 30, 2018 at Pima Community College Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave., Room RV 170. Dinner will be provided at each session. Employees can earn 50 Healthy Lifestyle Activity Points (HLAPs) by attending at least 4 out of 6 sessions. Please complete the Registration Form to reserve your spot today!     Wellness Council of Arizona Route 66 Virtual Challenge

    Organizations and individuals from all over Arizona will be competing against each other on a virtual course that spans the entire length of Route 66. As each individual and team does more physical activity they travel further along the virtual map, while also learning about cool destinations along the way. The 6-week Route 66 Virtual Challenge starts February 5, 2018.

    Prizes* for both individuals and organizations that accumulate the highest number of steps.
