Starting Monday, July 23, Pima County Health Department immunization clinics will hold modified hours at each of their three locations to accommodate the busy back to school season. The modified hours will continue until Friday, Aug. 24.
“The next few weeks are the busiest time of the year for our clinics and we want to make sure we are able to accommodate the rush we know is coming,” said Richard May, Manager for the Health Department’s Clinical Services Division. “It isn’t just about meeting a school requirement. Immunization is one of the most fundamental steps we can take to protect the health of our children.”
For the next month, each clinic will operate on a walk-in basis, with limited services between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on the daylong schedules. All other services available at the clinics will continue with their normal schedules.
