Pima Animal Care Center wants you to head to one of three local PetSmart stores this weekend to find your family’s new best friend as part of PetSmart Charities® National Adoption Weekend, Sept. 14–16.

This event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. at the following locations:
    PetSmart at Oracle & Wetmore
PetSmart at El Con Mall, between Home Depot and Target
    PetSmart at Irvington & I-19

PACC currently has about 400 dogs and puppies and 250 cats and kittens waiting to find their forever families. To help place them into adoptive homes, PACC is waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats four months and up at participating PetSmart locations and at its main shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Rd. A $19 licensing fee will apply to dogs. All pets adopted from PACC will come spayed or neutered, with age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip and a free vet visit.

After you adopt, share a picture with your new best friend on social media using the hashtags for PetSmart National Adoption Weekend: #Iadopted  #adoptlove and #PACCpets.

PACC’s normal business hours are Monday through Friday, noon-7 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends.
