  • Financial literacy workshops free to County workers

    Anyone who feels out-of control, stressed or even guilty or ashamed about money can take control again with help from the Pima County Housing Center. “El Banco” recently launched a new series of financial literacy workshops free to all County staffers.finances

    Sessions will use the CreditSmart program offered by Freddie Mac, covering a wide range of topics, from creating practical, sustainable financial plans to building savings and controlling debt, even credit repair and home ownership.

    Upcoming workshops:
    • Tuesday, October 9; 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 27; 9 - 10 a.m. and  10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
    • Tuesday, November 27; 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, December 11; 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
