  • Save up to $600 a year just on parking expenses
  • Cut your fuel expenses in ½ or more
  • Reduce wear-and-tear on your vehicle
  • Make new friends or get to know colleagues
  • Reduce air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion
  • Reduce driving stress, save time, enhance safety
All this, and you can still keep flexibility in your work commute! You decide how many days per week you’d like to carpool…it doesn’t have to be every day! Choose with your carpool buddy where to meet, who drives, and if there are lots of potential carpool buddies, perhaps you could even start a vanpool.

Worried about leaving your carpool buddy in a lurch or being without a ride if an emergency happens during the work day? Don’t fret! Sign up for the Pima County DEQ Guaranteed Ride Home program for an emergency ride home.
