Appointments Available for On-Site Flu Shot Clinics
Don’t underestimate the convenience factor for getting a flu shot at an on-site event. It only takes a few minutes to schedule your appointment at a location near you.
To better prepare for your appointment and save time:
- Fill out the Consent Form ahead of time
- Bring your medical insurance card
- Wear short sleeves
Within minutes you can do your part to stop the spread of the flu.
Onsite flu shot events are available for all Pima County employees, spouses, domestic partners and any dependents 18 years or older covered on the Pima County medical plan.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments take priority.

Have a Little Fun at the Trick or Treat Walk
Join the “spooktacular” fun at the Downtown Trick or Treat Walk on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 any time from 11:00am – 1:00pm. To start, sign-in at the table next to the Congress St. Bridge. Earn “Trick or Treat” tickets towards a prize drawing for one of five, $50 Corporate Rewards gift cards!* Tickets available for dressing festively, donating towards the Community Food Bank food drive, and participating in the activities at each station. Healthy snacks will be available for walkers. Bring your own water bottle to fill at a water station.

Employee Wellness Receives Awards at 2018 Wellness Council of Arizona Annual Meeting
Pima County Employee Wellness was re-awarded the Official Gold Seal of Good Health Keeping on September 20, 2018 at the 2018 Wellness Council of Arizona Annual Meeting. This level of recognition is awarded to organizations who have demonstrated an established relationship between their wellness incentive program and health plan engagement.
Along with the organizational award, Pima County is happy to announce that three Pima County employees were also recognized at the event for their outstanding achievements as Champions of Worksite Wellness. Gayl Zambo, Human Resources Employee Benefits and Wellness Division Manager, received the Senior Leadership award. Jennifer Billa, Human Resources Employee Benefits and Wellness Supervisor, received the Wellness Committee Member award. Patty Gamez, Human Resources Records Information Systems Specialist, received the Personal Achievement award.
