Have you found kittens and don't know what to do?
It's best for kittens to stay with mom to nurse for a minimum of 6 weeks. Though we try, humans are not a substitute for the care a mother cat provides. You can help by offering shelter, food, and water until the kittens are 2 pounds, and then have them all spayed/neutered.
If you see a litter of kittens, you can text “KITTEN” to (833) 552-0591 to get a step-by-step guide on how to best help them. Para Español, envíe un mensaje de texto con la palabra "GATITO" al (833) 552-0591.
Here is a GREAT page with images of the types of kittens that actually need help.

If the kittens are friendly, you can rehome them yourself using the suggestions here or contact PACC to schedule a surrender appointment: (520) 724-7222 or pima.gov/petsupport
If the mom and kittens are not able to be easily picked up and handled (undersocialized or feral), they should be taken directly to one of our community partners for spay/neuter surgery to stop the cycle of births. For more information, see the Trap-Neuter-Return page.
If you can't catch the mom or kittens, contact PACC's Community Cat Program for assistance with trapping and neutering: (520) 724-5983 or here.
