    The Lives and Achievements of Tucson’s Unknown African American Pioneers, 1860-1910

    Bernard Wilson has spent the past twenty-years researching Tucson’s African-American pioneers and community. His first book was “The Black Residents of Tucson and Their Achievements, 1860-1900.”

    The book we will discuss on March 7 is “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City,” by Matthew Desmond. Pick up a copy from the first floor information desk anytime after our February meeting.
