    Pima County takes on teen vaping
    Pima County health and education officials on March 27 announced a new educational campaign aimed at preventing teens from taking up vaping or e-cigarette use.

    New program manager takes the reins at Las Artes Arts & Education Center
    The new program manager of Pima County’s Las Artes Arts & Education Center has more than a decade of experience connecting people to jobs. But it was her own experience more than 30 years ago as a pregnant high school student that has led her to a job connecting at-risk students to brighter futures.

    Volunteers highlight adoptable pets at PACC
    Pima Animal Care Center is waiving adoption fees for some of the pets at the shelter in April, courtesy of its volunteers. The "volunteer picks" will have a kennel card that reads "I'm a PACC Volunteer Pick! My fee is waived!"

    County to be part of Cyclovia Tucson April 7
    Area residents and visitors can bike, run, walk and skateboard -- all in the middle of the street, if they like -- at Cyclovia Tucson, taking place April 7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Several Pima County programs will be taking part in the day's festivities.

    Partnering with the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson (LWVGT), Pima County Public Library has made the 2019 Citizen’s Directory of Elected Officials available at libraries near you. The publication is free and can also be accessed on the League’s website.

    Flowing Wells High School students got an inside look at how citizens are part of the water cycle at the Tucson Citizen Water Academy March 24.
