
The
Tucson Invitational Games (TIG) are underway at
Kino Sports Complex, the largest professional sports and entertainment venue of its kind in Pima County.
The games feature teams from schools playing at the
NCAA Division II and
Division III level, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and in the
National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
Dozens of universities and colleges will be competing on the diamond in hundreds of games through March 26. Teams begin playing around 9 a.m. Tucson Invitational Games started in 2002 with 14 college softball teams.
Cost is $7 for a daily ticket and $30 for a weekly ticket. Kids ages 12 and under get in free. For a schedule of games, visit the TIG

Kino Sports Complex covers 155 acres at 2500 E. Ajo Way. No outside food or drink and no pets, only service animals. People who would like to attend these events can check the calendar
