The Human Resources Benefits & Wellness program have created a variety of workshops to help educate and empower Pima County employees to better understand their benefits and how to best utilize them.
Workshops and webinars range from 30 - 90 minutes in length.

Per Administrative Procedure 23-30, employees are encouraged to attend Employee Benefits and Wellness programs, events and activities. Employees may be allowed to flex their time, where needed, and/or, at the discretion of the Appointing Authority, may be allowed a maximum of eight (8) BeWell hours of paid work time per fiscal year to attend these activities.
In order to cover work hours utilized to attend, non-exempt employees may be required to use annual leave or comp time (in conjunction with their lunch break) or, with prior approval from their supervisor, may be permitted to flex their time during the same week. Exempt employees are not required to use vacation time to attend.
