The shelter will also be giving away raffle prizes for people who adopt a pet. Gift prizes include pet toys, treats, beds, and gift cards.

There are currently 405 dogs and puppies and 112 cats and kittens in need of forever homes. For those who want to help but can’t take on a pet full time, there’s fostering. People can sign up for dogs, cats or bottle babies. The shelter also needs donations. Monetary donations can be given to the shelter’s official nonprofit partner, Friends of PACC.

PACC is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, open Monday through Friday, noon-7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.  All pets adopted will come spayed or neutered, with age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip and a free vet visit. A $19 licensing fee will apply to dogs.
