Eighteen Type 1 Street Light Poles with 20’ Mast Arms and Luminaire Full Cut-Off LED 80B Chips, pedestal foundations, light shades, conduit, conductors, overhead electrical wiring, a new TEP transformer, and solar road pavement markers were installed along Oak Tree Drive.
Resulting from homeowner safety concerns for pedestrians, bike riders and residents who walk, bike, and live along Oak Tree Drive, threatened by reckless drivers and criminal activity, this lighting project significantly enhances the safety and peace of mind for the Midvale Neighborhood community.
Identified as their number one priority through surveys and meetings, the neighborhood association represents a medium-to-medium high stress community where 63% are homeowners, 52% are female-headed households, 78% are Hispanic households and 40% are under age 18.
