Colossal Cave Park and Old Spanish Trail between Pistol Hill Road and the park’s entrance will be closed from Oct 7 to 10.  Message boards will inform motorists of the closure beginning Oct. 1. Final striping will occur in November.

The route to the stables at Posta Quemada is not currently scheduled for repair, which will allow members of the public access to trail rides while the road to the cave is being repaved.

Located at the southeast end of the Rincon Valley, Colossal Cave Mountain Park offers a strikingly beautiful landscape, with geological features, riparian areas and views of the Rincon Mountains. This 2,400 acre natural resource park is crossed by the Arizona National Scenic Trail.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule will be subject to change.
