What's The Scoop?

The Scoop Aug 2002Remember when El Pueblo Library, 101 W. Irvington Road, was dedicated? The newly minted District 5 Supervisor was on hand, as was his predecessor, now a member of Congress. In addition, El Pueblo librarian Frank De La Cruz was the master of ceremonies.

The 3,500-square-foot library is housed within the El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, which includes a recreation center, literacy services, and a health clinic, among other services that support nearby neighborhoods.

We wrote about it the dedication the August 2002 issue of The Scoop, the predecessor of today’s eScoop employee newsletter. We’ll profile a different front page is each issue of our current eScoop.
