  • Medical Examiner releases post-mortem examination on man found on Pima Canyon Trail

    The Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner has completed the post-mortem examination of the remains of Steven Brashear, who was found in a wilderness area adjacent to the Pima Canyon Trail, on Dec. 30, 2019.
     
    The post-mortem examination was done in coordination with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The redacted report includes post-mortem examination, toxicology, and forensic anthropology reports.

    The examination was part of an ongoing Pima County Sheriff’s Department investigation. Because the investigation remains active, the Office of the Medical Examiner will not provide additional comment.
