COVID-19 Safety Standards Business & Community Reporting

The Pima County Board of Supervisors has tasked the Health Department to encourage and educate businesses throughout Pima County on the protective measures and standards necessary to slow or control the spread of COVID-19. On June 19, the board passed a Resolution that requires everyone in Pima County wear a mask in public places when unable to keep 6 feet social distance from others, which includes business establishments. On May 21, the board passed specific protective measures that all area restaurants, pools, gyms, fitness centers, hotels and resorts and other businesses must follow. These rules apply in all jurisdictions of the County except the tribal nations.

If a business is not following the June 19 Resolution or the May 21 Proclamation, you can report it here and our Consumer Health Food Safety team will contact the business and provide education and guidance. Anonymous complaints will not be investigated.

This form from the Arizona Department of Health may be used to report a complaint against businesses not in compliance with Executive Order 2020-43 and ADHS COVID-19 Guidance for Businesses.
