    Time is quickly running out to register to vote in the Nov. 5, 2013, elections. none

    The deadline to register to vote is midnight, Monday, Oct. 7, for the City of Tucson General Election, and an incorporation measure in Vail, as well as elections in three area school districts: Altar Valley School District, Catalina Foothills Unified School District, and Sunnyside Unified School District.

    If you are not sure you are registered to vote, please call the Pima County Recorder’s office at (520) 724-4330 to confirm your registration.

    A new voter registration form must be completed by anyone who:
    • has moved (even to a new apartment number in the same complex),
    • has changed their name since their last registration,
    • is a new Pima County resident,
    • would like to change their party affiliation.

    Forms may be obtained at the Pima County Recorder’s Office, any Arizona Motor Vehicle Division branch, all post offices and libraries, political party headquarters, and city/town halls.

    Voters may also log onto the Recorder’s Office website at and click on “Registering to Vote” to download a form to complete and mail in.

    Voters may also click on the link called “EZVOTER” for the online Motor Vehicle Division voter registration system. Or voters may also log onto to access the site directly. Out-of-town residents may call 1-800-775-7462 and ask for extension 4330.
