Come join us on Friday, November 8, 2019 at this year's event. Pima County's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) group hosts the Annual Pima County GIS Fair. The GIS Fair provides attendees the opportunity to learn about GIS and related technologies by watching live demonstrations and attending presentations. In addition, attendees can visit with the exhibitors to learn how they use GIS and also participate in the annual "Where in the World" contest. There will also be popcorn, coffee and the chance to win a variety of door prizes. Exhibitors include GIS departments and teams from local governments and municipalities, the University of Arizona, local companies, and the GIS industry.

University of Arizona students visiting Pima Association of Governments Booth.

On Friday, November 9th, 2018, the Pima County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) group hosted the 21st Annual GIS Fair. Over 300 attendees came to the Fair over the course of the day, the largest number of visitors to date. Thanks to the generosity of Westland Resources and Eagle View, we were able to provide everyone with lunch and coffee as they perused the 20 booths and attended presentations. Attendees also enjoyed popcorn and competing in the annual Where in the World? aerial photo contest.

Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation won the Best Booth Award for the 2nd year in a row! Their booth featured Esri StoryMaps that chronicled The Arizona Pure Water Brew Challenge, public events that the PWBC team has attended, and the awesome breweries that participated in the competition.

Thanks to all who attended or hosted a booth – you are what make our GIS community so vibrant and inclusive. A special thanks to everyone that sponsored food or donated prizes, and the multi-jurisdictional GIS Fair Committee for putting together another great event. We look forward to seeing you at the 22nd annual GIS Fair!
