Youth ages 14-21 in Pima County who are interested in careers in biotechnology are encouraged to attend a free Biotechnology Career Expo on Saturday, October 26, at the University of Arizona BIO5 Institute.

The expo is from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building, 1657 E. Helen St. Parents are also encouraged to attend.
Space is limited, youth and parents must RSVP to
Linda.Reyes@acehs.org.
The Expo will include exhibits and representatives from biotechnology employers and educators.
Participants will have opportunities to attend presentations, participate in discussions about careers, and view employer and education exhibits.

The Expo has being presented by the
Pima County Workforce Investment Board Youth Council and hosted by the University of Arizona BIO5 Institute, in partnership with the
Pima County One-Stop Career Center, Tucson Youth Development and the Office of Pima County School Superintendent.
The Pima County Workforce Investment Board Youth Council presented Youth Career Expos on health care in November 2012 and on aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and machining in April 2013.
