Road Repair WorkOn Tuesday, June 9, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, The Ashton Company, Inc., will be reconfiguring the traffic control set-up along Valencia Road in advance of a traffic switch.

Beginning Tuesday, June 9, one lane of travel will be opened on the newly paved westbound lanes and one lane of travel will remain on the eastbound lanes while crews continue paving operations. Westbound motorists will use the inside lane, or the lane closest to the curb while eastbound motorists will use the outside lane, or the lane furthest from the curb.

Motorists can expect reduced speed and minor delays during this work. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
