  • Board of Supervisors sets meeting schedule for September through December

    The Pima County Board of Supervisors at its June 9 meeting approved its regular meeting schedule for September through December. Supervisors also voted to allow all Boards, Commissions and Committee meeting (file photo)Committees to resume their regular meetings schedule utilizing videoconferencing, teleconference capabilities or provided they are able to meet according to public health guidelines, including physical distancing.

    Pima County maintains more than 50 advisory panels that allow citizens to provide advice and guidance on County operations and lend their experience to benefit the community. Members advise the County on everything from agricultural science to workforce investment.

    The Board of Supervisors meeting schedule and the deadline to submit materials to the Clerk of the Board’s Office is as follows:

    Sept. 15 Sept. 2
    Oct. 6 Sept. 23
    Oct. 20 Oct. 7
    Nov. 10 Oct. 28
    Nov. 17 Nov. 4
    Dec. 1 Nov. 18
    Dec. 15 Dec. 2

    Materials must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the day of the deadline to the Clerk of the Board, which is located on the first floor of the County Administration Building, 130 W. Congress. The next Board meeting is June 23. 

    In July and August, the Board only meets once a month. Those meetings will be held July 7 and Aug. 17.
