  • Take the County’s poll on face masks

Studies have shown that face masks can help reduce the spread of COVID-19, yet Medical maskspeople don't always wear one when going to grocery stores and other public places where it's difficult to keep a 6-foot distance from others.

The Pima County Health Department wants to know why.

Head over to the or Facebook page or Pima County Health Department Twitter and Facebook pages to tell them if it's because the face mask causes "Discomfort," because it's "Inconvenient" or post a comment if you have another concern. Health Department Director Dr. Theresa Cullen will review the concerns and respond to the most common ones. You can look for her answers on the Pima County Health Department's face coverings webpage Monday, June 29.

The poll closes at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26.
