Holidays are often a time when people consider adding a new family pet to their household – and Pima Animal Care Center is a great place to look! none

With hundreds of animals to choose from, we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to find your match with a little assistance from our adoption team.

Better yet: We’ll be open for adoptions on all three November holidays!

Here’s how you can enjoy the holidays with Pima Animal Care Center:
  • Veteran’s Day. Holidays are often a time to take note of the blessings in our lives and consider helping those less fortunate if we’re in a position to do it. You can help pets and help veterans simultaneously at our adoption event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll waive the adoption fee for those bringing donations of food or supplies to our drive for veterans in honor of their service.
  • Thanksgiving Day. Give our pets something to be thankful for and burn some pre-turkey calories while you’re at it. We’ll hold a dog walk from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. – then, if you fall in love, we’re also open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Set your own adoption price by making a donation of your choice.
  • Black Friday. After you’ve snapped up those early morning deals, come find a new addition that will bring more to your life than that new sweater or DVD ever will. We’ll be open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adoption prices will be a donation amount of your choice.

All animals will go home with vaccinations, microchips and spay/neuter surgery. Dog licenses are $15 and will be good for one year.

Any pet at the shelter longer than two weeks is free so come see if we’ve got your match!
