#MaskUpPimaCounty - I Wear My Mask for My Teacher

We need you to #MaskUpPimaCounty

Pima County is getting Back to Business, but our fight against COVID-19 is far from over. Do your part to slow the spread. Wearing a face mask is one of the simplest, most effective ways to slow the virus, but we need everyone to do it. That’s why we're asking all Pima County residents to mask up and speak up about how wearing your mask can save lives.

Spread the word. Not the virus.

Wearing a face mask helps reduce the release of infectious COVID-19 particles into the air when someone speaks, coughs, or sneezes around others. Show us your face mask style and share why you choose to #MaskUpPimaCounty!

Who do you wear your mask for?

Everyone wears their mask to protect someone — whether it’s abuela, granddad, auntie, mommy-to-be or the strangers in line at the grocery store. Use the #MaskUpPimaCounty hashtag to share an image of yourself wearing your mask on social media and answer the question: who you wear your mask for?

Together, we can combat misinformation and encourage everyone to stay safe, mask up and make a difference.

We need you to #MaskUpPimaCounty! We all want to reopen businesses and resume our favorite activities, so let's do our part to protect our community. Wearing a face mask helps prevent someone who is pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic from spreading the virus to others and can provide some protection to the individual wearing it, too.
