  • Building Code Board of Appeals

The Building Code Board of Appeals is established to hear appeals of the Building Official’s decision under section 112 of the International Building Code. This body consists of the Building Code Committee/Board of Appeals members convened as needed to sit as the Building Code Board of Appeals. The body does not hold a regular meeting sitting as the Board and is only convened upon request to the Building Official following payment and denial of an appeal to the Building Official.

The Board has no authority to waive requirements of adopted code. Rules and regulation of the Board are available for viewing.

To request an appeal, submit the Appeal to the Building Official form with payment of the applicable fee posted on the web site.

Notices regarding meetings of the Board shall be posted at on this web page and within the main lobby of the Public Works Building located at 201 N. Stone Avenue, Tucson.
