  • Take the annual Travel Reduction Program Survey

    Dear Employee:

    Pima County is required to submit the annual Travel Reduction Program (TRP) Employee Survey during the month of October. Your participation in this brief survey will make a difference in many ways and is greatly appreciated.

    Employees can access the survey on a work computer or smartphone. If employees do not have access to computers, contact karen.wilhelmsen@pima.gov. If necessary, employees can print out and take the survey by hand. This link provides an English and Spanish pdf of the survey. Submit paper copies (via email to karen.wilhelmsen@pima.gov or interoffice mail to PDEQ TRP, Karen bike commuterWilhelmsen, 33 N. Stone 7th Floor) by Oct. 23 as they will have to be entered manually.

    Why are we doing this?

    All employers in Pima County with 100+ employees are required by ordinance to complete this survey annually to comply with the regional plan to reduce air pollution in our community. The data collected from this survey is extremely important and helps the region’s decision makers understand how and where people travel in Pima County.

    How is the data used?

    The data from this survey is used to assess travel patterns of commuters, to measure alternative mode usage and to calculate emission savings from transit use, biking, walking, carpooling and telework. This data is also used to show the effectiveness of the Pima County Clean Air Program outreach efforts and is incorporated into regional planning efforts to evaluate transit routes and assess future infrastructure needs. 

    Who participates? EVERYONE

    Every employee is asked to submit the survey by October 31, 2020. It is a short survey that will take less than five minutes to complete.
