On Friday, November 13 through Tuesday, January 5, 2021, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Sunland Construction, will be performing road repair work on Sandario Road between Ajo Highway to Emigh Road.
The work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes, shoulder work, adjusting utilities, survey monuments and final striping once all work is completed.
Lane restrictions will be in place and traffic will be directed through the work zone by flaggers. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays will occur during this work.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
This project is part of Pima County’s $56 million Road Repair Work Program for fiscal year July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. For a complete listing of the Road Repair Program, please visit www.pima.gov/roadrepairmap.
