    Have you been turned down for mortgage assistance in the past?

    Housing Recovery EventPima County Housing Center is hosting a free Housing Recovery Event on Friday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    HUD-approved housing counselors will be on site at 801 W. Congress (2 blocks west of Interstate 10) to discuss new programs you may now qualify for and answer all your home ownership questions.

    Please bring with you:
    • Current mortgage statement
    • Current bank statements (1 month)
    • Prior tax returns and W-2s (2 years)
    • Current income statements – pay stubs, award letters, etc. (1 month)

    The Pima County Housing Center and its partners:
    • Provide resources, information, counseling, classes, computers, and workshops to help first-time homebuyers and other Pima County residents purchase, repair and make their homes more energy efficient; find affordable rentals; improve their credit; and save and manage their money.
    • Help homeowners with mortgage modification and foreclosure prevention or recovery.
    • Assist individuals and families who have been victims of fraud and rescue scams.
    • Help with resources for affordable homeownership opportunities.
