Improvement District Plans are created by Pima County to provide specific improvements to constituents in a specific area.
Improvement Districts are formed when a group of property owners within Unincorporated Pima County (typically outside of an approved subdivision) want to improve their infrastructure (i.e. roads, sidewalks, street lighting, drainage, sewers, etc). They work with the Pima County Finance Department to set up a separate tax or assessment fee to fund the needed improvements.
See Pima County Improvement Districts for more information.
