  • Road Repair Work And Preservation Program at 8 Locations

    Road Repair On Tuesday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 31, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing a fog seal treatment from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:

    • Harrison Road from Sahuarita Road to Sycamore Leaf Road
    • Alvernon Way from south of Aeronautical Way to Aerospace Parkway
    • Camino Verde from Nebraska Street to Valencia Road
    • Anklam Road from Speedway Boulevard to west of North Players Club Drive
    • Old Magee Trail from La Cholla Boulevard to Magee Road
    • Tanque Verde Road from Tanque Verde Acres Drive to Tomahawk Trail
    • Soldier Trail from Tanque Verde Road to Fort Lowell Road
    • Freeman Road from Speedway Boulevard to Old Spanish Trail

    Motorists can expect reduced speed and lane restrictions. Flaggers and pilot cars may be assisting traffic through the work zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    In Fiscal Year 2020/2021, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $56 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
