ICAR-Infection Control Assessment and Response Consultation

To help improve facility IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) practices, we are offering in-person or virtual ICAR’s (Infection Control Assessment and Response). Although an assessment can vary in length from 2 to 4 hours contingent upon whether it is a virtual or in-person assessment, it can provide valuable information on what IPC practices are currently working for any given facility and guide in quality improvement activities to include identifying potential gaps.

We can answer questions, review policies and procedures, observe practices, train staff, suggest resources and provide written feedback based on CDC, CMS, and ADHS guidance. Email or call the Congregate Care team to find out more or to schedule a consultation: 520-724-7146, CongregateCare@pima.gov.

Funding for the project is provided through a grant from NACCHO through June 2023.
