Traffic SignalPima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC will temporarily reduce speed to 25 MPH on Arivaca Road between milepost 5 and milepost 12. Recent rains have caused pavement failures in the newly paved sections of Arivaca Road that will require repairs. The contractor will be patching in these areas until a permanent repair can be completed.

Slow down and approach the area with caution. Traffic control modifications and speed reductions will occur as work progresses.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
