    Pavement PreservationBeginning Monday, January 17 through Thursday, January 20, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be milling and paving Via Rancho del Lago from Colossal Cave Road to Miralago Drive, as part of Pima County’s Road Repair Program.

    The work will consist of setting traffic control, lowering utilities, milling and repaving and temporary striping. Thermo striping is scheduled for a later date.

    Flaggers and Pima County Sheriff's Deputies will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
