    Pavement PreservationOn Monday, January 24 and Tuesday, January 25 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Tucson Asphalt Paving & Construction Co., are scheduled to re-stripe on Horizon Hills Drive between Thornydale Road and Starshine Drive.

    Motorists can expect lane restrictions and intermittent lane closures.

    Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
