Pima County has been gathering public input for Pima Prospers, the 10-year update of the County’s Comprehensive Plan, at community events and online since early October.

Pima ProspersThe online opportunity ends on Monday, March 31.

Don’t let the deadline go by without sharing your best ideas for building a better, brighter future for Pima County.

Go to www.pimaprospers.com and click on the “Sign up to Participate” button. Your participation earns you points toward such rewards as tickets to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the Pima Air & Space Museum and Old Tucson.

The Comprehensive Plan will be used to guide the region’s growth, conservation and community design for decades to come. To create a vibrant future for our region, the plan must address how Pima County will:
    • Use and conserve our land.
    • Manage and conserve water and energy resources.
    • Drive our economy.
    • Create healthy communities.
    • Use existing infrastructure efficiently.
    • Enrich our quality of life.
    • Respond to the needs of unique communities.

We’ve gotten hundreds of ideas from hundreds of people. Don’t keep yours to yourself. We’ll be scheduling open houses soon to get your feedback on our policy draft. Our final goal is approval by the Pima County Board of Supervisors in 2015.

We hope to hear from you. Together, we can make sure Pima prospers.
