  • Crack Seal Treatment at Various Locations January 27 to February 4

    Pavement PreservationOn Thursday, January 27 through Friday, February 4, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be crack sealing from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:

    • Skyline Drive from Calle Los Altos to Sunrise Drive
    • Sunrise Drive from Skyline Drive to Camino Esplendora
    • River Road from Dodge Boulevard to Pontatoc Road
    • Painted Hills Road from Speedway Boulevard to Ironwood Hill Drive
    • Mission Road from just south of Sindle Place to Canada Street
    • Valencia Road from Mission Road to just east of Mission Road to the Tucson city limits

    Motorists can expect reduced speed and lane restrictions. Flaggers may be assisting traffic through the work zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
