Bike Fest Begins Tomorrow!
Pima County, AZ – Bike Fest begins tomorrow and runs the entire month of April with close to 40 events and activities scheduled so far. Here are some fun events that will give you a perfect reason to get rolling this month:

- Walk and Roll to School Day (April 4)
- Cyclovia Tucson (April 6)
- GABA (Greater Arizona Bicycling Association) Bike Swap Meet (April 13)
- El Grupo Youth Cycling’s Bicycle Scavenger Hunt (April 12)
- Bike Fest Bike-In Movie Series (multiple dates)
- Bikes, Beer, and Baseball! (April 11)
- Full Moon Stevie Nicks Ride (April 15)
- Midnight Ride of Paul Revere Reenactment (April 18th) – begins with a tea party
- Saturday Night Bike and Dance-A-Thon (April 19)
- Pedal the Pueblo Week (April 21-25)
- Bike to Work Day (April 23)
- Edible Downtown Tucson! Bike Tour (April 26)
“It is wonderful to see our community organizing to promote bicycling and reduce motor vehicle trips,” said Beth Gorman, Pima County Department of Environmental Quality Clean Air Program Manager. Join the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality in encouraging employees to Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, April 23. Downtown workers who ride their bikes to work that day can stop by for breakfast snacks in the Jácome Plaza near the Main Library at Stone Ave. and Pennington Street from 7-9 a.m.
Bike Fest is a program of Living Streets Alliance, in partnership with Pima County Department of Environmental Quality, the City of Tucson, Pima Association of Governments, and numerous local businesses and community organizations.
