  • Road Repair Work on Lambert Lane and Cactus Canyon Pass February 14 -24

    Pavement PreservationBeginning Monday, February 14 through Thursday, February 24, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC will be milling and repaving at the following locations:

    • Lambert Lane from Camino De La Tierra to west of Wild Creek Drive
    • Cactus Canyon Pass from Thornydale Road to Shannon Road

    The contractor will start with setting traffic control and lowering utilities, followed by milling and repaving, temporary striping, and cleanup. Temporary striping is scheduled for February 25.

    Flaggers will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
