Pavement PreservationOn Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., are raising manholes to finish grade on Via Rancho del Lago from Colossal Cave Road to Miralago Drive as part of Pima County’s Road Repair and Preservation Program.

A detour will be in effect during this work. Via Rancho del Lago will be restricted to a one-way southbound travel. Motorists traveling northbound will be diverted to Camino Loma Alta to Via Rancho del Lago.

Flaggers and Pima County Sheriff's Deputies will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

In Fiscal Year 2021/2022, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $85 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
