Summer is right around the corner, and lottery applications for Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation’s free summer recreation programs for children will be accepted April 14-18.
The programs at eight community centers are for children ages 5 to 13 years of age (5-year-olds must have completed kindergarten). The session runs June 2-July 27.
Activities include summer reading programs, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. Days and hours vary by center. The program is free except for some special events.
Space is limited and registration is through a lottery application. To register, visit the community center of your choice and put in a lottery application during regular business hours on April 14-18.
