Volunteer

We couldn’t operate our ranges without the help of our dedicated team of volunteers! Our volunteers work with customers one-on-one and provide our Rangemasters with invaluable assistance. As a volunteer, you’ll participate with others who are enthusiastic about shooting sports, and you’ll make a valuable contribution to the community. If you love the range, this is a fantastic way to become more involved!

Volunteer Positions Available

  • Line Safety Officer: Assisting Rangemasters by monitoring and assisting shooters.
  • Assistant Range Masters: Working with full-time Rangemasters to provide additional presence where needed.
  • Cashiers: Assisting range customers with the check-out process.

Requirements

Volunteers must be available to work at least 10 hours per month for at least one year. All volunteers will participate in a 2-to-4 hour Line Safety Officer course, and will receive additional training while onsite.

Benefits

Have you ever dreamed of having the range to yourself for an afternoon? Volunteers who fulfill the minimum requirement of 10 hours a month may use the rifle and pistol or archery ranges for free, and the Clay Target Center for a reduced price. Your hours worked may also be applied toward free attendance at training classes.  Volunteers receive additional benefits.
