Getting a job is one thing. Keeping it is another.
Many employers want to hire and retain people who not only have the skills and education to do a particular job but who also have “soft skills.”
Soft skills are those basic skills that employers value in any employee and include showing up for work on time, good customer service, communicating and working well with others, knowing how to prioritize, and taking initiative.
Pima County One-Stop Career Center is introducing a new seminar – Succeed at Work – to help job seekers polish their soft skills.
One-Stop is launching the 7-hour seminar next week at its two service centers.
