Feb 22, 2023 - The second annual Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade was a huge success, drawing an estimated 30,000 spectators to North Fourth Avenue on a cool Sunday for a celebration of pets and people in Pima County. More than 1,200 participants of both the two- and four-legged varieties walked in the parade, including dogs, goats, birds, pigs and a bearded dragon.

Jan 12, 2023 - A dog at Pima Animal Care Center has tested positive for a highly contagious bacterial infection, Streptococcus equi zooepidemicus or “Strep zoo,” prompting the shelter to move to an emergency-only admissions schedule through close of business Thursday, Jan. 19, to minimize the number of animals exposed to this infection.
