Succeed at Work flierEven rocket scientists have to show up for work on time.

The skills and education to do a particular job are important, but if you lack “soft skills” – you’re difficult to work with or are too often late for work – you may find yourself unemployed.

Soft skills are those basic skills that employers value in any employee and include showing up for work on time, good customer service, communicating and working well with others, knowing how to prioritize, and taking initiative.

Pima County One-Stop Career Center’s Succeed at Work seminar is designed to help job seekers polish their soft skills. The 7-hour seminar is scheduled at One-Stop’s two service centers.

    For laid-off individuals
    • 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • Monday, June 2
    • Kino Service Center
    • 2797 E. Ajo Way

    For other job seekers
    • 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • Friday, June 6
    • Rio Nuevo Center
    • 340 N. Commerce Park Loop (Tortolita Building)

The seminar is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, call 520-243-6700 at the Kino Service Center or 520-724-7650 at the Rio Nuevo Center.

Please see and share the attached flier about the seminar.
